Reviews & Ratings

So much better than the bullet
★★★★★
We use this blender everyday to make, on average, 3 smoothies with frozen fruit and ice both of which ruin blenders. We originally bought the Bullet but it was broken in a few months. We have had this blender for over one year and it still works GREAT!! We use the single serve blender almost exclusively since everyone likes different ingredients in their smoothie - and it honestly works like we just bought it. I love this thing. UPDATE: So, my first review was 11/28/12 and today, 3/20/14, the single serve blade broke. We have used this blender every day for years and it just had it's first problem. Not bad for how long we've had it and how often we use it! We're going to purchase the replacement for $20 and hopefully go about business as usual. Still a great blender. UPDATE 4/18/15: It broke - completely burned out. Bought a new one.

Love it!
★★★★★
I must have researched a dozen different blenders before finally deciding. If money was NOT an issue I def would have gone for the vitamix. But since money is an issue I needed a lower priced blender. I saw this in walmart and thought it looked perfect for my needs (daily smoothie and occasional cooking). I was very pleasantly surprised by this blender!! The small individual serving blender is perfect for my daily smoothies with soooo much less clean up. The power is amazing! I crush and blend ice, frozen fruit, and protein mixes with the individual. I use the big one for mixes and larger jobs. Ive had the blender now for about 2 months and I still love it. I highly recommend this for fruit smoothies. I haven't tried green smoothies yet...(My body isn't ready for that)..but if/when I do I will update review.

Fast blender
★★★★★
This blender is great. Please keep in mind it is a blender. I have made salsa, smoothies and chopped things for salad in this blender. It so far has been great and took me 6 mins to make salsa. 5 mins to get my salsa stuff out and not even a minute to mix it in this machince. It is just great and I recommend it for anyone who needs to make fast smoothies with pulp to replace meals. Easy, fast and yummy what else can you ask for.

Good Kitchen Appliance!
★★★★
I read tons of reviews of this model & the other Ninja models all over the internet before I bought. I just couldn't/wouldn't spend 3 to 4 times this price for the "designer" brands. I took a gamble & am SO glad I did. I LOVE this machine. Even though this isn't the food processor model, I can still use it as such if I just pulse it & use the big pitcher. Works great & is so much easier to clean than my food processor. Because I got this particular model, I can't make bread, or cookie dough with it..........but I do still have my food processor for those things if I want. I did get rid of my old crappy blender that just made noise & never did anything. I also sold my my old juicer, just didn't need it with this. It's taking me awhile to get used to eating all the pulp in the Ninja. Definitely a different taste, but very delicious. I can use less vegies/fruit since the pulp fills me up. The single serves are great too, as many times I'm making small servings. I do have an ice cream maker too in my appliance stash, gosh.....I just have had too many appliances, haven't I? :) I like real ice cream in my ice cream maker. Cuisinart, that I also love, by the way. This makes more of a "frappacino" type consistency to me, rather than an ice cream consistency. But if I had to pick only 1 of my appliances & had to get rid of the rest, then I would pick this. It can do the most with taking up the least space! You will just have to figure out which Ninja model to buy...think about what type of appliance you want to use the most & what appliances in your kitchen you want to get rid of, then buy the Ninja model that makes the most sense for you. I'm assuming all of their models are good. Yes, it is loud & I use ear plugs, but I don't mind. EDITED 04/14/13: I got some extra $, so I bought a fabulous Blendtec at Costco for an unbelievable price of $329 with an 8 year warranty this weekend to replace this. I sold this on Craigslist. It still does a GREAT job if you can't afford the more expensive models. Much smoother consistency (less chewing of pulp!)& does a quicker job. But, again if you can't afford the more expensive models, this is the way to go. I will really miss the small single serve containers though.

Great Blender
★★★★★
This is a great blender so far. I particularly found the two single serve attachments useful as I generally make a smoothie for breakfast and a protien shake after I workout. I can make them both and put them in the fridge without having to clean dishes. The large pitcher is great as well, though I have only used it once for frozen adult beverages.

Too huge for apartment use
★★★
Did not like! Edges seemed cheaply made. Way too huge.

I am very disappointed.

I purchased this item as a wedding gift in September of 2017. The bride informed me that it stopped working suddenly this week without any warning or any sign of trouble. (stopped working June of 2018) To use the warranty she would need to send it back in its original packaging along with the original receipt. Needless to say She does not have the original packaging or receipt. I am very disappointed.

Better than Kitchenaid and cuisinart In my opinion and way faster!!!
★★★★★
Ive always wondered about these Ninja blenders. After my kitchenaid failed I decided to buy one of these and at a better price than found locally. Both the Kitchenaid and cuisinart brands have let me down with their blenders, food processors and mixers. They only appear to be quality on the outside but the mechanicals and motors are so far behind technologically speaking once you open one up. It upsets me to see the price that is being charged for 1960s era technology in a new wrapper.
